Ingoldmells Hub

Please note our Ingoldmells Hub is now closed until March 2026.

Our Ingoldmells hub is located on the seafront promenade, directly next to the beach. This was our very first hub, made possible by the Ingoldmells and Chapel Fan Facebook Group, and has been running successfully since 2018, helping hundreds of people enjoy the sand and sea.

Access and Parking

The promenade can be accessed via a nearby ramp from the closest car park. Please note this car park has a small pay-and-display charge and a 2m height barrier. The ramp up to the promenade may be a little challenging for some visitors, though there are alternative ramps available along the promenade. Additional parking is also available at the Anchor Pub, which has the same 2m height limit and a small charge. You can find further information about how to find us by scrolling down this page

Equipment Available

At Ingoldmells, we have a wide range of equipment, including:

  • Seven different types of beach wheelchair, to suit most requirements
  • A beach walker, for those just needing a little help to walk on the sand, or can be booked alongside a wheelchair if you wish to use it for a paddle once you've reached the sea.
  • A manual hoist. Please see further information below.

Full details of each wheelchair, along with booking request forms, can be found further down this page.

About the Beach

Our part of the beach is popular but a little quieter than the busier areas further south on Ingoldmells beach. If you fancy a livelier atmosphere, Bibbys Beach Bar (often with karaoke on the beach stage) is about a 15–20 minute walk along the beach.

We kindly ask that all chairs remain on the sand and promenade and are not taken away from the beach area.

Important information about using our hoist

Please be aware that we do not have an indoor premises.
