Meet the Team Behind Beach Ability

Beach Ability began with a simple but powerful idea — to make our beloved Lincolnshire beaches accessible to everyone.

That idea came from Teresa Price, who, alongside her late husband Glen, recognised the need for beach wheelchairs and began raising funds to make it happen. Joined by Kev Wright and Sue Wright, the team — all administrators of the Ingoldmells and Chapel Fans Facebook group — used the power of their online community to rally support. With the help of generous local businesses, caravan owners, and holidaymakers, they successfully raised the funds needed to launch the project. And so, Beach Ability was born at Inoldmells Beach.

Afterwards, Leanne joined the team, bringing her energy and dedication to the growing project. Over the years, this founding group have worked tirelessly to establish Beach Ability as a trusted, reliable service — and we are proud to now be a registered charity, all now serving as active trustees. With the service soon to expand to more Lincolnshire beaches.

Our service couldn’t run without the dedication of our incredible core volunteer team:
Stephen, Kay, Tammy, Josh, and Leanne’s husband Rory have all given their time and energy over the years, helping to maintain the service and assist our wheelchair users with care and kindness.

👉 Please note: These are the only individuals who will approach you on behalf of Beach Ability. For your safety and confidence, we will always carry Beach Ability ID badges, these should match the details of our team below. Please feel free to contact us if you are ever in doubt.
